The Chorale’s purpose is to preserve and promote great sacred choral music in the Evangelical church by presenting top-notch performances of the very best in sacred choral music.
The Chorale has performed at Bethel University’s Benson Great Hall and in more than 50 area churches from a variety of denominations. The Chorale’s repertoire is varied and consists of traditional choral anthems, spirituals, hymn arrangements and major sacred choral works including Daniel Pinkham’s “Christmas Cantata”, Edvard Grieg’s “Four Psalms”, various J. S. Bach cantatas, as well as portions of John Rutter’s “Gloria” and Handel’s “Messiah”.
We are welcoming singers of all voice parts who are interested in sacred music to audition for our ensemble. Interested performers need to be available for Tuesday night rehearsals, as well as concert dates.
Auditions can be held at our rehearsal venue, Richfield United Methodist Church. To schedule an audition, send a brief description of your singing experience, and voice part to email@example.com or call Larry Bach at 952-484-3572.
If you belong to a church that would be interested in hosting a concert, either for fall or spring, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with church staff contact information.
Rehearsals are on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. at Richfield United Methodist Church, 5835 South Lyndale Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55419.
